As a multi-functional venue, the Great Yorkshire Events Centre excels in supporting the Great Yorkshire Show’s extensive programme, which spans four action-packed days. Our high-quality facilities are designed to handle large crowds efficiently, allowing for a smooth flow of thousands of attendees each day, while providing essential and accessible amenities for both exhibitors and guests.

The Halls welcome a steady flow of 35,000 attendees over the four-day event, exemplifying how the Great Yorkshire Events Centre can support large-scale events seamlessly.

Our Halls accommodate 180 trade stands featuring food, home goods and gifts, and they are the proud venue for the Cheese and Dairy Show, showcasing over 100 cheeses, along with live cookery demonstrations. This year, we’ll also host the inaugural Great Yorkshire Show Butchery Competition for 2024.

Just a short walk across the Showground, is the Pavilions of Harrogate featuring 13 flexible event spaces tailored for a variety of gatherings. These spaces serve as the Yorkshire Agricultural Society members’ area, accommodating up to 500 delegates and are also a popular choice for corporate clients, including Asda, Arla, Dovecote Park, JCB, NFU, Pentelow Wealth Management, RN Wooler, Bull Tankers and Harper Adams University.

The grounds also feature the permanent Main Ring and Grandstand with seating for 4,000, equestrian stables and rings, the Countryside Arena, the Great Yorkshire Stage, Tandem Tops home for thousands of sheep, the Beekeepers Pavilion where the educational Discovery Zone surrounds and a range of pens and sheds for horses and cattle throughout the event’s four days.
