In addition to both the The Halls and the Pavilions of Harrogate benefitting from natural daylight, they’re also set in 250 acres of glorious Yorkshire countryside and woodland that makes up the Great Yorkshire Showground. With so much outdoor space to utilise, it’s ideal for events such as automotive shows, as organisers of Everything Electric North (previously Fully Charged LIVE) and Motability Scheme Live have discovered. The Grounds offer extensive space for showcasing and test driving, boasting 6km of internal roads, along with exceptional access and acres of free parking for visitors.
For events that require indoor and outdoor space, the Great Yorkshire Events Centre offers the perfect combination, creating the ideal backdrop for corporate team building days. We regularly welcome businesses who use The Halls and the Pavilions of Harrogate venues for a conference, before treating colleagues to a team building event within The Grounds.
The extent of your imagination really is the limit on what’s possible, with past events ranging from days with corporate challenge games that get the blood pumping followed by a relaxed barbeque for all the team, through to creating mini festivals with stages set up for live music, funfair rides and entertainers.

We’re really proud of The Grounds, with its hundreds of acres of second-to-none scenery overlooking the Yorkshire countryside. Given the breathtaking backdrop, versatility of space and on-site facilities, it’s hardly surprising The Grounds has become a favourite for Location Managers. Providing the perfect backdrop for film locations including feature films and TV, set within 250 acres, we also have plenty of space for the location-based units when filming in the local area.
