The Great Yorkshire Events Centre is easily accessible by various modes of transport. If you are using a sat nav or Google Maps, please use the postcode HG2 8NZ and access from the junction of Wetherby Road on to Railway Road.
Can I park at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre?
We offer FREE onsite parking spaces for every event including disabled parking for blue badge holders and dedicated coach parking areas. Our parking stewards will be on hand to help park and direct you to the most convenient spaces
Can I charge my electric car?
Yes there are several EV charging stations available onsite.
What disabled toilet facilities do you have?
We have several disabled toilets located across all venues and have a changing places facility located in The Halls.
How accessible is the Great Yorkshire Events Centre?
Our venues have been thoughtfully designed to ensure easy access for all visitors:
- Disabled Parking: Accessible parking spaces are available throughout the Showground to accommodate all visitors.
- Level Access in The Halls: The Halls are fully accessible, with no corridors, gangways, or internal stairs.

What if I need to hire a wheelchair or scooter?
We work with a locally based company to provide visitors with wheelchair and scooter hire. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Do you have baby changing facilities available?
Yes, we have baby changing and feeding facilities throughout the venue, making your visit with a young family easy.
Can I bring my dog?
Only assistance dogs are permitted at the venues. We can ensure drinking water is made available and have space for assistance dogs to be exercised if required.
Eating at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre
Each Hall has its own on-site café catering, providing a range of menu options and seasonal, locally sourced specials. Meanwhile Pavilions of Harrogate has a range of pre-booked catering options available.
The Great Yorkshire Showground is also home to Fodder – Great Yorkshire Food Hall. Why not pop in on for a visit on your way home?

Do you provide Wi-Fi access?
Free WI-FI is available in the Great Yorkshire Events Centre and Pavilions of Harrogate, please contact the event organiser directly for more details.
What if I become ill or need medical assistance at an event?
We always have trained first aid staff available to assist you if necessary.
Do you have a cash machine?
We don’t have a permanent cash machine at the venue but temporary cash machines or cash back are available at some events. Please contact us before your visit for more details.
Do you have a lost property area?
If you have lost something during your visit please report to the main reception desk and they will be able to help. If you have already left the venue please contact us directly.
